About Ruth's Red Velvet
Ruth Flick, mother to Tim Flick, has been baking Red Velvet and other specialty cakes for over 20 years.
She started making them for Tim when he owned the Millhouse Restaurant in downtown Jasper, Indiana, years ago, and for other family and friends. Ruth is still active in the business, overseeing production to ensure her artisan cakes maintain the same quality that she has been producing for the last 20 years.
Ruth’s Red Velvet cakes are set apart from others because of the specialty ingredients and mom’s recipe that has been perfected over 20 years. Our cakes are proudly made with unbleached and unbromated flour, local grass fed and organic eggs, organic milk, and the best vanilla.
Ruth’s Red Velvet cakes are now exclusively sold on this website. Pick-ups can be made at Bread & Butter or arranged for corporate business drop-off.
